1994 double die?

    I'm not very good at judging dd's I have this 1994 that appears to be a bouble die. It could be die det. thought I'm just not sure.
    Anyone have with a better eye have an idea.

    negative ghost rider, that is what we call Machine Doubling.

    I'm not good at figuring them two out. I guess most of the time. I would love to find a true double like the 1983.

    Like shoe said, machine doubling. Notice the shelf-like features to the doubling, there's not deterioration.

    Do you realize how common "true" doubled dies are in the late Memorial series? Not the massive spread of the 83 you mentioned, but there are tons of minor DDRs. Start examining the area around Lincoln's statue as there are many to be found.

    I have a 1994 lincoln cent almost everything on the front of the penny is doubled is this common

    Unfortunately, the likely cause is quite common, but the only way one can say for sure is if you post clear photos of your coin.

    here is my 1994 DDR. Look art the doubling on America, and compare it to yours. Yours is flat. 94america.jpg 94cent1.jpg 94fg.jpg
