I'll pay face value, less shipping, for one. You can tell how much they excite me. Maybe if I lived in Texas I might have a little more interest.

I do not believe these are sold out. This notice is on the BEP website.

"At noon, EDT, Wednesday June 28, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) offered for sale 2,000 Texas Coin and Currency Sets comprised of $1, $2, $5 and $10 Federal Reserve Notes with matching low serial-numbers as well as two uncirculated Texas State Quarters.

The incredible demand for this offer completely overwhelmed the telephone and website order service systems, both of which experienced significant system failures. Many customers encountered difficulty completing purchase orders and the system failures led to confusion and frustration.

The BEP deeply apologizes for any inconvenience.

An analysis of the systems failures is ongoing. Based upon this analysis, the BEP will devise an equitable solution to enable the completion of this offering. The BEP is committed to resolving all customer concerns and complaints. Customers will be contacted with more information in the very near future"

They will most likely have a lottery to ensure "an equitable solution to enable the completion of this offering"
