1866 S and 1851 quarter eagles NGC graded

    So what do you guys think they where graded? They are both in NGC slabs

    the first one looks like F-12 and the second looks like XF Details to me. I have next to no experience with gold though.

    also keep in mind on the 1951 the pic looks way worse then the coin, the light hit it wrong and made it look very scratched.

    I knew the second one was cleaned (Shame :( ) But the fI didn't go with my gut. First one had me thinking for a minute it was cleaned, but as long as you like them, that's great :yes:

    i think having stacks and stacks of gold coins would be pretty sweet personally. Makes you feel like a pirate.

    And since i paid melt plus $10 for each slabbed one I am quite happy :D.

    The1934 has been in the family for awhile and is of course worth a fair bit more then the other 2.
