I really need some help here. My grandpa was a coin collector, and I was just keep those as a memorial of grandpa. My brother is always arguing with me about this coin. Can you guys just please help me to list down the differences of the real 1804 coin and this coin. Thanks.
Welcome to CT koko... and everything is wrong with your fake! Here's some good info on counterfeit bust dollars (scroll down to find your 1804): http://home.comcast.net/~reidgold/draped_busts/page_7.html
Try this too. The 1804 is "one of the rarest and most famous coins in the world". Check out the features in the picture of a real one - from the looks of yours, in my opinion what you have has to be a copy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1804_silver_dollar
Well the biggest things on the obverse are the stars look WAY off, the lettering is a completely different style then a real 1804 and the hair is just completely wrong, so wrong its like they wanted to make it look fake. As for the reverse the picture is very blurry so its hard to tell everything. However one thing thats clearly off is the lettering style.
