I picked this guy up this past weekend. I thought it was cool and wanted to share.

    Enjoy!

Very cool, love the old Dahlonega minted stuff.

I was born and raised in Georgia (and I am visiting there now) so I have always been drawn to Dahlonega gold coins. One day I hope to own one.

Wonderful dirty, old, southern gold! It doesn't get a lot better.

Interestingly, I once owned an 1855-D $5 in a similar grade (PCGS claimed EF-40). It disappeared from the mail when I sent it to PCGS for a regrade. After several months and a bunch of paperwork, I was eventually reimbursed by the USPS. (Apologies for the mediocre photos)
