Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Five Pound Coin 200th Anniversary of the Birth of Charles Dickens Two Pound Coin London Olympics 2012 Five Pound Coin London Paralympics 2012 Five Pound Coin
Interesting presentation; I liked that curious black head on the table at the beginning. Yes, both sides of the Diamond Jubilee coin were designed by Ian Rank-Broadley ... who had been inspired by the medal for Queen Victoria issued in 1897. Am I unable to edit my posts? I was going to add this pic to my post above, but I don't seem able to? It's of the obverse of the 2012 Jubilee Five Pound Coin. These are probably some of the best coin pics I have ever taken, I find it very difficult to get the light right. There was some editing done on photoshop to remove dust speckles.
Great Photos of some attractive looking coins. Are these coins in circulation for 2012? It would be great to be able to buy a Silver proof set and just tuck them away for the grandchildren. How do you go about getting your hands on a proof set?
