You be the Judge -1866 Shield

    This looks to be a very fine coin to me, but I am not to good at judging conditions. Can I get some expert opinions ?

    I would have to agree, it's very VF. 1866 is a common date for a repunch, you should check under a glass to see if you have some doubling happening.

    Yep - I agree about VF30. Nice coin. Don't see any repunching of the date. Nice pickup.

    Date is repunched. Tough to see in his photos but its there. Definitely VF but not quite in the choice range IMO. Nice coin from what I can see.
