    Hello everyone,

I'm not into to much paper money but I was wondering the potential value of this 1914 $10 FRN. I believe it grades VF. If you are selling it or asking for offers, you must list it in the Buy/sell.trade subforum.

    Thanks!

I have the opportunity to buy one of these but it's a 1913. Also have a chance to buy a 1934 silver cert $10 but haven't pulled the trigger because I have no clue on the value of these notes

I pulled out my paper money book and it says for the Philadelphia, White & Mellon issue like mine in VF is worth around $45-$50. Same as above , no offers or negotiating in the reguar posts. Go to B/S/T. I need to sell to buy another Morgan :D

Sorry desertgem, I'm well aware of that, don't know what I was thinking! It will not happen again!

Maybe a very very low VF, but probably in the F grade. I usually see these fetch anywhere between 30-45 in that condition on eBay, and maybe a little higher for more western reserve banks.
It really depends on the seller and when the auction closes. $30-35 wouldn't be out of the question for a quick sell.
BTW: White/Mellon are one the most common signature for the 1914 series. It's got the capital C, and the blue seal is off to the right, so yea $30-35 easy, $65 your going to sit on it for a little bit. A couple problem areas might be the edge, and it looks like some kind of mildew is having it's way with it.

Someone fill me in on the series of 1913? I know of the 1914, 1915, & 1918...

The 1913 series is a rare series, known only to....me I guess. I wasn't kidding when I said I knew nothing - when I saw the note I remembered seeing the authorized date of the FRN act and not the series date on the side there. So now I have no idea what date it was, but i know it was a blue seal and had Andrew Jackson on it haha. I'll see them again tonight and might buy them if the price is right just to have. If I do, I'll certainly post them in the paper money newps thread.

Yea the FR act! The last day of America's economic growth! Been nothing but debt since! No surprise that FRN's were released so quickly with that useless interest attached that only benefits those on the inside. Got to love how they charge interest on the money with interest already attached.
End the madness that is the private unconstitutional federal reserve scam!
