live chat applet would be nice on here dont you think? they are ready made scripts for forums like this so no php or nothing.
The problem with live chats is that nobody ever shows up to chat. It might work for a week or two - but after that it just sort of dies. I've seen it tried on various forums - always the same
How about this...Just a suggestion you know a couple times a month, open up a private chat in yahoo or some other messanger service like that, post a thread in the forum when it will be, and for everyone to post a reply with who needs to be invited, you know, their names that will be in use at the time. The best part of all, if no one ever shows up, all we gotta do is stop creating the room
If you'd like to do something like that - setting up a Yahoo chat room - be my guest I'd certainly have no problem with it and I doubt the site owner would either. Feel free to post a notification here.
