The title should say, "Let's See Your Danish Coins"

I forgot the R in Your.

Here is my favorite Danish coin, from 1702. It was minted in Holstein-Glückstadt.

Here is a more recent one that I find interesting - a silver 200 kroner coin, issued in 1992 for the silver wedding of Qeen Margrethe and her husband Prince Hendrik. The same design was also used for a 20 kr base metal circulating commem. Not my image (it's from the mint) but I have that coin. :)

    Weird?!

Who designed the coin? The obverse looks like they're about to do battle. The reverse looks like it was designed by Tim Burton who made Nightmare Before Christmas.

Nice coin in any case. :thumb:

Yes, if many coins were designed like that, I would get tired of them ... but one in a humorous style like this is neat. :) The designer was Jan Petersen; here is some background info in English about the design.

The Queen is depicted on the higher denominations (10 and 20 kr) of the circulation coins. The portrait they used until 2010 (see the attached image) I found somewhat strange; last year a new one was introduced which I like better.
