peace coin

    Can some one tell me what is the difference between the 1924 s peace coin and just the regular peace coin ???????

    There should be an s mint mark on the reverse of the coin at around 7 ocklock if it is a 1924 s.

    Plus trelatively low mintage.

    Right---
    He means that there wern't as many of this date and mintmarked minted at the mint then some other dates.
    You see the 1924-S Dollar has a mintage of 1,728,000 where as the 1922 dollar has a mintage of 51,737,000....the 1924-S doesn't have a really low mintage but it does have a low one.
    If you want a low mintage look at coins such as the 1863 Proof Half Dime---its mintage is only 460.
