    Yacorie, sorry to hear about your car problems. Hope you get it fixed quick. Picked up my very first box of dimes today. Found a 58 roosie and a 63 Canadian dime. One dime with a possible edge error, but can't tell for sure. Maybe I'll upload a pic of that one later.

    Yeah I probably should have went in anyway, but I was out there visiting my cousin and only had a little time to kill. Was gonna take any small loose finds I could find, but after that I was too embarassed haha.

    Did 2 boxes of halves today. and 1 box of Nickels.
    2 40%ers and 1 War Nickel.

    Scaled back my weekly volume to only 2 boxes of halves/week and now doing Nickels 1 box/week. These are boxes I get ordered. Scaled back b/c I'm getting tired of dumping coins all the time, more and more of my dump banks' machines are getting crappier, and with all the good weather coming I have other hobbies I want to focus on instead. Also I 'm too lazy to open up an account with another bank just to use for dumping.

    I have one more box of halves waiting tomorrow and might try and loose roll hunt....which I suck at.

    It's been awhile since I searched. I tried one box of halves and one box of dimes I yielded 1 90% Half and 4 90% Roosies. Not bad maybe I need to search again.

    Went through 4 boxes of half dollars this week. I picked up two random boxes this week from different banks. Someone here locally is putting red dots on the ear. I've seen a growing number of these marks. Apparently, one mark isn't enough, another guy is putting a black line, so the coins have at least 2 different marks. Sometimes there a green 'x' on top of that.

    These boxes didn't yield much, picked 3 40%. No 90% this week. This will be the first week in awhile I didn't pull at least one 90%.

    Dime and quarter boxes did better. I pulled about 10 silver dimes from as many boxes. Quarters did well, out of maybe 6 boxes pulled 4 silver quarters. Last box I picked up today had two in one box. Silver quarters are nice looking coins, growing to appreciate them.

    I might start doing more quarters and less dimes. Dimes have been getting sparse. Its very rare for me to find two in one box and more often its none. I started doing dimes and quarters a couple months after I started with halves to fill in between and because I figured less people were doing dimes. The dimes are harder to dump than quarters. Any bank will take quarters. Even if I do not have an account, I find they will take them because the use them so often. If I keep on them, I should have a roll by Christmas.

    Yea, I have found a couple of these. When I first saw them, I thought they were proof clad coins. The edges showed no wear and had that copper clad look you are talking about. Turned out they were 40% silver coins. I do not think they are SMS coins either.

    Ugh, skunked on both boxes of dimes. One box had 27 rolls of 2011 D's. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

    Did find a rainbow-toned 2002 P and a '67 that looks like it was struck on a quarter planchet.

    I've gone 19 boxes in a row without finding a 90% Kennedy, however I did find 2 Walkers during that run.

    For the Quarters that you dump. you said most banks will take even if you do not have an account; are these rolled coins, or do they have machines?

    Thanks, and good luck with the Quarters Walnut. I get interested in them every now and then, but I always get skunked right away and my interest dies, lol.

    Those are some good boxes there. Did you get these all from the same bank? Just curious. Thanks.

    Well, this isn't considered a roll find,but anyway...
    I went to my local coin shop to fill holes in my lincoln folder. the cool thing about this shop, though, is that they have trays full of literally unsearched wheat cents. totals from one pound are:

    * half a dozen BU wheats
    * 3 steel cents
    * 1945-s
    * 1939
    * 1937-d
    * 1928
    * 1926
    * 1923
    * a few 1920's
    * and... a dirty 1910.

    Good day for me:)

    They're not unsearched... just not searched by that dealer.

    Another box of nickels, skunk, but did give up a BU '39 and a '39-S.

    Ugh, really getting tired of people's lack of etiquette when searching halves in northern NJ. Loads of searchers marks, dumping tons of taped up rolls at some of the few banks that order halves... people are such jerks.

    Don't dump on someone elses turf and don't dump where you pick up, seriously.
