early double mint sets

    Has anybody heard of imitation mint set cardboard holders and envelopes.
    There is a guy on ebay selling some that look close but are kelly green and
    not the normal blue-green type and they are toned real nice also.
    Any response is welcome.

    Oh my, $9.95 for shipping charges? Me thinks he's pocketing some (most) of that. I've had 5 or 6 mint sets purchased sent for $1.95 from most sellers.

    I've seen green before but never quite that bright of a green. I'd pass.

    I have a rule on ebay: NEVER buy from a seller that has "L@@K" in the listing.

    Part of it may just be the picture. You notice in the second picture with the blank holes the green is not as bright. I never trust colors in computer images. I also have the problem that I don't see colors the same way many other people do. (Oh and while most of these sets are grayish green (at least to me) some of them do come with a pink paper as well.)
