Thanks. I really enjoy the design. These two make number 8 and 9. I also love the silver libertads as well.
Saw that one yesterday evening. Looked nice enough for me to click on the listing, and the asking price didn't sound half bad. Nice pick-up, WL! -Brian
Thanks iGrade! Hey Zach, Yes, seller's pix. Here is what his ebay ad said: "1958-D Lincoln Cent MS/BU+ ...Finest Rainbow Neon Tone I have ever seen... ***Pictures have not been enhanced or altered...coin looks just like this in hand...I almost fell over when I found this at our local coin show." Paid $75 for it. I plan on submitting it to PCGS Secure Plus and see what they say (if they think it's gradeable or not). Thought it was worth a gamble! My gut feeling is the toning is natural (although I have to admit that I've been fooled before) the color progression on the reverse seems correct. And I like the woody pattern (on the front (and somewhat on the back)). If it grades, it will be the most vivid rainbow toning I've ever seen on a PCGS-blessed MS Lincoln cent.
Just bought for $160 which is $159 to much. Listing says rainbow tone but well see when it gets here? Seller photos.....
A good friend and I were both looking at this one. Good friends do GOOD things. But then he does want a MS coins for his set...
Just got back from a show with 7 mercury dimes, lots of linclons, some clipped plancet coins, and a large cent with a hole and a gash making the last number of the date invisible.
Bought at a coin show for $1 Birthday present from SS4 Birthday Present from the ANA Present from SS4 The Jefferson nickel is actually quite well toned on the reverse, had to sacrifice quality for colour on this one.
Nice coin Wing, I was tracking this one and the 45 cent 'great toning' had up this weekend. Unfortunately, both went off well beyond what I was willing to lay out. Cents don't get may star's at NGC and they always catch my eye when I see them. Let us know how she looks in hand !
