Thanks for the pics Bone. My wife is going hysterical. She thought I was the only one with a room like that! Good move with Dale #3 take that to the basement. I love the SAC shield. Where did you ever get one that big. I was in SAC and I only ever saw something like that in the hanger or bar. Very cool!

Very cool![/QUOTE] I got the SAC shield from the old 44th Strategic Missile Wing when I worked there. They shut the wing down and were giving all the (non-maintenance) stuff away. Nobody else wanted it so I grabbed it. Here are a couple more pics with the links cause thy're HUGE!!!!, LOL B http://www.jabpublish.com/room4.jpg http://www.jabpublish.com/room5.jpg
WOW - is all I can say. I am single and don't have a room like this. I guess if I had to stick everything in one room - then yeah it might look something like that. Of course I would probably have to get rid of some of my books.
I have only seen those SAC signs at my base. Amazingly they are still hung up in an old room in a hangar at Whiteman AFB. I bet those puppies are worth some $$$ and sentimental value to you guys. There is about 10 different metal signs all the same size about 4ft by 4ft.
The one I have is made of wood. Looks like walmut on the back where it's not painted. It's about 3/4 of an inch thick.
Bone, I love my room as well. Organized clutter my wife calls it. I have slanted cielings which make a great place to hang signs, posters, etc. The cieling is still emply though, that may be next. My clutter is about 50% military artifacts from the Civil War, WWI and WWII, 40% Maritime artifacts from the Great Lakes and 10% Misc. (not including my coin collection). I can see now that I have a long way to go to catch up with you though. You are the master!!!
Thank you for the photos. I can show them to my wife to prove that things could be worse. It's a pretty cool room.
Wow Bone!!! Way cool!! I wanna come play at your house! Do you happen to have any Tony Stewart cars in that extensive collection...Jeff Gordon, blech!
That's an awfully cool room! tradernick p.s. My 8 year old daughter saw the pics and she said your room needs to be cleaned pronto! Although she was excited about the Nascar stuff
Joesmom - Tony Stewart??? Yes, if you were a true fan you'd recognize the cars to the rt of the german plane model. His Busch ROOKIE car... CoinDude08 - Something green, LOL. Since I live in the hinterlands of pro-football (Green Bay/Denver/Minnesota EVERY week) I decided to have a Party Hat available for my Green Bay buddy who comes over for the game on occasion. Bone
