Hello,I picked up quit a few notes today from a local convenience store owner. These are the Star notes and one off center Silver Certificate. 1953 $5 Note,1953-C $2 note, 1935-G $1 note and the1935-D error note. None of the notes are crisp. Anyone see anything special about them that would add value? Thanks Donald
Thanks,I didn't get them at face value.I paid a small premium on them. Can someone tell me if there is anything special that would add any extra value to them?
Did I make a good deal? None of the notes are in that good of condition. The $2 note has four pin holes in it.The mis cut bill is about the best, but I'm not sure if it is even an error.
jhawk, welcome to the forum. You would get a faster responce if you would copy and paste your question and start a new thread. Someone will see it a lot quicker that way. luke
Now I have to learn how to use it. I'm open to any knowledge anyone cares to share about using this book.
Sorry about your misfortune. It happens here and there and you'll learn from it. I was lucky enough that the person who got me into collecting US currency told me to always look it up; especially because prices go up and down by the day sometimes.
That's an outstanding book, Krause does a good job on those guides. The world coins bible is excellent as well.
