I really like that CBH. I would research the Overton, but I'm away from home and cant jump on a real computer to find it out for you.
I'll come to your assistance Kookoox......O-103, and Brian? The Overton mentions that die break as a 'heavy die defect ridge". Guess thats a die break with an attitude?
At least you got your Elgin, that obverse looks a little soft struck. But I think most of them usually are just based on the original design, or lack thereof. Is this another one you needed for the old collection? So you only need a couple more now? If I had to throw a wild guess based off the photo, 61 or 62?
Thanks Mat, this is actually my 3rd upgrade for this coin. I will probably upgrade once more into a 61 or 62 with some beaming luster. The rays on a mint state example are absolutely astonishing to look at.
A few new purchases today. All bought for melt, including Walker '17 Obverse D, '17 Reverse D, and '17 Obverse S.
Doing some roll searching. I have a number of BU rolls of cents and I had a few original rolls that the paper was starting to really get bad so I went ahead and put them in tubes. I found these two in rolls that several of the coins looked like these.
