On my second $25 box of pennies this week, and found this, I don't have my loupe so I only have a 4x glass. Could anyone determine from the picture, if it's a small or large date? Thank you.
The 1960 is easy to tell. If the zero is almost perfectly round it's a large date. If its "skinnier," then it's a small date. http://www.lincolncentresource.com/smalldates/1960smalldate.html
Another way is to look at the end of the loop on the 9 and 6. On the large date they are almost at equal height, but on the small date the 6 is much higher than the 9.
