Hi everyone!!! (From Brussels, sorry in advance for the spelling mistakes)

First thing first, I would like to say that I really enjoyed reading some of the members contributions on this website, more than often really insightful.

I'm a newbie when it comes to coin, grading and valuing them. In fact, I never thought that one day I would have in my possession some interesting ones, and to be honest, even during my studies (I'm an historian and an historian of art, archaeologist), I've never pay too much attention to the few coins (antique, medieval, etc.) which fell into my hands. Shame on me ... boooo
Anyway, I've recently inherited 13 coins, gold coins from four countries. I've made some research, I've checked some websites, so I have my ideas on their worth. Actually, I'm not that bother by that, I think I want to keep them and start a collection (searching about information, looking about their respective history was enjoyable to me). What really interest me, is their grade, well your opinion/valuation on their level of conservation. If they are real of course! I do think/hope they are ...
So what do you think of them? Also, I would like some advise on how I should conserve them; if I should appraise those coins or not (Where and Why, the cost, for the american coins keep in my I'm from Belgium)?

Thanks in advance and sorry for any spelling mistakes.

Welcome to Coin Talk. I'm not good at grading, but those are nice gold coins!
