Hey all! It has been almost half a year since i last signed in to the forum! Unfortunatley, as i usually do with my hobbies, i lost interest in coins for a long time. Recently ive been starting to thnk about them more and plan to go to the whitman edpo later this month. There were a lot of you who i used to talk to daily. How are you guys? Have i missed anything important? AND WHAT HAPPENED TO THE GAMEROOM?!?!?!

Had too much drama in the gameroom for too long, and they decided to just shut it down. Too much uncontrolled chats that the drama would spill over to the forums. Welcome back man. I used to get bored with coin collecting when I just collected US coins and did what you did. Now that I collect ancients, I just switch collections when I get bored. If I get tired of Roman, collect Sogdian. Get tired of those collect Byzantine, get tired of those do Chinese, and on and on.
The game room started being misused. Some people were telling racial jokes, making inappropriate comments, etc. Since it was an open chat and not really subject to censorship, it had to be removed from the site. In the last 6 months, not a lot has happened with my collection either. I had to cut down on my searching time and working on building some sets of different series. Only need the 16d Merc now, possibly a couple of varieties of S marks and a couple of upgrades. Washingtons is coming along. Need a type 2 72 IKE, etc. Same with IHC's, LWC's ,halves, etc. I decided to sell some Barber halves and complete the V nickels. The budget only goes so far you know. And there are always upgrades to get. And it's time to play with the Canadians again now that spring is here. Good luck with yours, gary
