Team, I mentioned in an earlier thread my library where my collections (coins too) reside. Thought I'd show you just one of the walls. See if you can find the 1964-P clock. I had to move a dale Earnhardt "Wrangler" 1/64 diecast car in order to get the clock on the wall but I'll find a spot for it :-D Take Care Bone
I couldn't resisting showing my "dungeon", too. Though not nearly as complete as Bone's, it's my sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of life.
You moved Dale, but you left the #24 car?!?! What the heck is wrong with you? Although I also see the NFL pennant (see my avatar), so I can clearly tell you have no taste in your sporting choices. I myself am in the process of moving my collection into the computer room from the guest room. Apparently, my wife got tired of the guests not having use of the top of the dresser because all of my coins awaiting proper filing were sitting there.
Here are two more walls of the place. Don't forget there is the floor as well That's where where my coins and sportscards are at. Then the ceiling is where some flags and posters are located, LOL B
I see the SAC Strategic Air Command sign/metal patch. Were you in the Air Force or just collect memorabilia?
Bone, are youu a mason? Also, are you married? My fiance would kill me if I had a room that looked like that. I want a room that looks like that
Yes, to both your questions... We have an older house and this used to be a storage room with a large walk-in closet. My quiet place B
I keep trying to build a room like that but every three years or so I end up having to get rid of half of it in order to meet my wieght allowances for those #%#@^& at TMO
Bone, have you checked into Sports Anonymous? Just kidding. My family is right there amongst the least sports interested families in the country, and late last year my little sis married a fellow (and quite a terrific guy IMO) who played pro baseball for 20 or so years. That combo has made for a few humorous moments to say the least. I was always going to ask you about your bike in your old avatar, now that would interest me as I have a small but expanding collection of those. But to make a least a token comment pertaining to this forum, I have commandeered an entertainment center to store my exonumia library in, but it is rapidly running out of room.
Chuckle, as they all say "I used to be pretty..." The bike was my retirement gift from the wife. It's a 2004 H-D Dyna WideGlide. I had the Stage II, Screamin' Eagle upgrade kit put in it and now she's got 95ci jugs, S-E .203 cams, and makes about 93 horse or so I was told Take Care Bone
Sounds pretty cool. Always loved the looks of a wideglide. My favorite is my nearly all original (had to replace the leather seat and bags) '50FL. Not fast by any means, but I've got other bikes for that.
I will give you this much Hirum! A crook would have one he** of a time trying to find any of your coin collection in that room. Should save you the cost of a safe, didn't it?:thumb:
Fast Burner eh I salute you and all the others who serve. :thumb:  :thumb: Remember one thing, "Tech is Tough..." LOL
