    Hello everyone,

I have had this what I call "Error Note" for about 5 months now, I want to finally know what it is. Also if it is worth $5 or actually worth something more.

I have pictures along with the condition. When I received the bill it looked like it had only been in a single fold wallet one day. I brought it home and stored it in a bag inside of a book. The note itself is in fairly good condition with minimal fold showing thru the center

    Here are some pics IMG_20120309_172247.jpg IMG_20120309_172259.jpg IMG_20120309_172311.jpg IMG_20120309_172318.jpg IMG_20120309_172327.jpg

Thank you for any info in advance

    Tim

    rickmp Frequently flatulent.

Just a touch of offset transfer. I din't think it will have any premium, but wait for some others who may know better than me.

What you have is almost considered a normal amount of transfer. I have a bunch like that, that are brand new.

This is what you want for a premium. This cost me about a $100 bucks off eBay.

I should mention, being a small head '77 in VF makes it worth a few bucks over face. Forget about the smudging.

BTW: What am I looking for on the face of your note? Looks 100% normal to me?

The thing that initially grabbed my eye was the front being off center as far as it is.

For some reason, I always thought that a note like that would cost WAAAYYYYY more than $100! Where in the world do you find deals like that?!

tBud, I won it with a snipe. The note had settle in at about $65 for a couple days, and I set the snipe for about $125 or so, and took it home for a bill.
I think of it like the last lap at Daytona. You want that little buffer with people bidding at $5 bucks at a time. Than you zip by with a $40 rise coming out of turn four.
My only regret is I didn't get the $5 back to face that ended at the same time! Only had enough for one, and actually paid less for the ten. People were fixed on the slightly higher grade the $5 had, but it was only a 3/4 partial.

Oh and tBud your dream will come true, if that note was a $20 big head in a PPQ 45 or better! Them big head errors fetch a ton! They started using the better error detectors around that time.
