A lot of guys here use the same program so it's easy to get us all mixed up. LOL It's Photoscape.

It is a nice looking coin, from the 1st pic. it looks AU the 2nd pic. looks MS63. So maybe a MS61? The main problem is the scratch, but its got really nice toning.

So... the grade that INS gave it was MS65. I thought that might be high and told the seller I would give him a price for MS64.. which may still mean that I overpaid...although I have seen some MS63 and 64 posts/guesses in here. I'll know whenever I finally get it graded... at which time I will revive this post.
    Thanks for everyones input.

    I'll call it a 63. Nice coin.

The progression of the posted pics show how hard it really is to grade a coin threw the internet.
The last pics show this coin being a nice example, nice mild coloring as well. I say MS 62+ or 63. The scracthes mentioned could lower the grade though, hard to see them.

I like these columbian expo dollars, I have included my most recent pick up of the expo half!

The scratches you mentioned on each side of the face (field) are most likely die polish lines since they do not run into the devices. If so they would be ever so slightly raised and not incused. This does not lower the grade and it could make PL (proof-like).

Ahhh.. now that is interesting. Thanks.

Edit: I don't know... if you look at the second set of photos and blow the obverse up till you can't anymore (it will be larger than a 20" monitor... the lines are varying in length and direction.

Cazkaboom One for all, all for me.

All I gotta say with that one is that the TPGs weren't what they used to be...

The fingerprint could have appeared after the coin was holdered......
