Hello everyone! I found a 1994 Penny in my roll searching and the four is missing, just a shadow. The Nine next to it is barley there and the 19 is OK. Can anyone tell me if this is an error.
I agree with Ikan, sounds like a grease filled die strike, which is a common occurance at the Mints, and doesn't add any premium.
I would have to agree, sounds like the coin was struck through grease. I've found a few of those roll searching. They aren't worth anything over FV, but they are still pretty neat. I would keep it.
