    Lol, at 1st I didn't read this as "cud", I need to get my mind out of the gutter!

    i would hold onto it based on the fact that its an older date candian cent .. also it looks like a lamination peel but i'm not sure... definitely don't throw it back tho!!!

    I have never heard of "cud splatter" (and I doubt it is a legitimate numismatic term) but I think what you have there are a few small die chips.

    I grew up on a dairy and I have had that happen to me many times but I never knew it by that name. ;)
