Crappy pics from my smart phone, but here are my two new Standers. 1927 and 1925... They happen to also be my first! Thanks for taking a look!
Wow, WL, that Lincoln sure is a looker! Which reminds me- I sent my toned '55 Proof Lincoln off to PCGS for holdering/TruView over the weekend! Can't wait to see how the photos come out! Hoping it's clean enough for a Gem PR (65+), because, in hand, it sure looked like it'd pass for one! My '55 Proof would look GORGEOUS beside yours!... But I guess we'll just have to wait and see what the guys down a PCGS have to say about it. -Brian
Just recieved this small lot today. Just out of curiosity, what would you pay for it? (even tho its not for sale)
Totally forgot to keep posting, here's 5 more. Pics aren't that great but are just quickies. NGC AU58: RAW (My first raw purchase in over two years, couldn't pass up due to awesome clash on obverse and nice toning) AU55
2nd Raw purchase in 2 years. Awesome obverse color in person. Reverse is a tad weak, but overall a nice coin. XF45-AU50
Last two, had to buy both as they look like twins! Still, not awesome photography but they work. Both PCGS MS65, hints of blue and light orange on both. My First Shield! I LOVE it! Scuffed up holder on reverse...
Went to coin shop to pick up some BU cents, but this caught my eye instead. Not a big fan of toned coins but for $5 can't go wrong here:
my new ones are a bit all over the map. even the dealer made a comment about how all over the place they are. someone correct me if i am wrong on this one, but i believe it's kao tsung (1735-1796), peking mint, board of revenue. septimius severus (193-211), denarius, rome mint (195-196 a.d.) obv: laureate head facing right, L SEPT SEV PERT IMP VII rev: mars advancing right, holding spear and trophy, P M TR P III COS II P P (RIC 67)
Well, you have to start somewhere, right?! Nice pickups, someday you will have the urge to upgrade your standing liberties.
Nice additions. I dont know but I think that Severus is from a eastern mint, not rome. Might wanna post it in the forum and see.
