What is the correct way to explain these errors and also more importantly, what would their values be around???

The coin didn't get totally in the collar. As for value I'm not sure, but they're sweet.

Thanks, I just acquired them and thought they were worth asking about. Hopefully someone can give me a good idea on their value.

I am no expert in errors, but being just a typical off-center i think 3-5 each would be fair. But im just making a somewhat guess. Nice coins though.

I think it always helps the value when the dates are readable like this. Nice coins.

Wow where did u get all those. I would say 4-5 dollars each it is nice that they have the date still visible.

I appreciate the help guys, I actually have 7 more 2001 pennies that were off-center struck like these as well. so $33 at least for 11 pennies doesn't sound like a bad deal at all:)

That's quite a haul for a single date/mm. Did they come from a Mint bag or roll?

I'm pretty positive they came from a mint bag at first, but that's just my guess. My friend is a bank teller and alerted me that he just received a bunch of rolls that probably hadn't been picked through yet. And guess what, he couldn't have been more right lol

At $3-$5 value, I wouldn't bother spending the money to get them slabbed. The slab would cost more than the coin inside it.

Don't get them slabbed, it would cost to much and I would say $6-$7 each since they are BU and a readable date.

You should be doing this through private messaging not on the forum.:)

So how much does getting them slabbed or graded cost and wouldn't it be worth having it done for the potential buyer? And once again, I appreciate everyone's input, this forum and all you guys have been extremely helpful, I just started collecting this past year and I guess I have been pretty lucky with pennies so far. Just before I found these guys, I found a WIDE AM 2000 penny, here's a pic of that:)

Depending on how many you get done at one time, the price is going to be around $30 each. Then you can sell them slabbed for around $15. You do the math.

Remember the rule.... buy the coin not the slab.

Yea $30 per slab is a little too steep for my wallet when I would be losing $15 a pop haha
