It appears to be some sort of 50th anniversary commemorative of WW2. I am wondering what Country this is, what it could possibly say, and if there is any value here? Just picked it up for the shop for 10 dollars. TYVM ~Jason
Yes it looks like a Russian form of letters, I also think Russia was the only country to recruit women to their army and the rifle looks like a Mosin Nagant too
Beautiful coin! Definitely Russian. 3 Roubles, to be exact, honoring WWII partisans. Composition is Copper-Nickel. They seem to go for $9-$12 on Ebay: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=3+roubles+partisan&_sacat=256&_odkw=3+rubles+partisan&_sadis=200&_ipg=200&_adv=1&_sop=12&LH_SALE_CURRENCY=0&_osacat=256&clk_rvr_id=320520733465&_dmd=1&LH_Complete=1
Im glad that there is someone else that picked up on the Mosin. Another hobby of mine is wwII history.
There is nothing stereotypical about that, here is a famous reproduction of an actual battle, showing a Russian infantry bear from a grenadier squad:
It commemmorates the partisan movement in the Great Patriotic War --- which means it honors the partisans who fought in WWII on Russia's side.... the words are Партизанское движение в Великой Отечественной войне Which translates Partisan Movement in Great Patriotic War and anytime you see the words Банк России on a coin, that translates to Bank of Russia.
"Партизанское движение" means "partisan movement" (organization or group of people with a common goal or ideology), not "division".

Definately not a Mosin-Nagant of any type - they (M38, M44, M91-30) all have full handguards. And the buttstock is all wrong. Looks like a hunting rifle.
omg i never realized there was a 'completed listings' section on ebay but your post made me look and I found it. Awesome!
