Picked this up earlier this morning for 297.50, +4% back - I love ebaybucks and Bill-Me-Later. I had been looking for an 1882-CC for a few weeks. Its funny because the same seller had this coin in the same grade just not PL, and had it listed for $311, I offered to buy it for less, and he said the lowest he could do was $290. Then he lists this for $297. I can't wait to get it!

No, not a cherry. I like my VAMs visible like this one. Not like the ones you needs strong glass to see.

So many today... Not going to share them all because I went on a hayday. I'll be posting some tomorrow.

Though I can say I think I got an 1981-S Clear S proof set... Hoping to get nice photos up tomorrow.
Also got a wide array of high grade later date wheaties for upgrading purposes. Finished my 1941-1958 set (Finally) and now am doing upgrades. Phillys will eventually become proofs and everything else will be 63 or higher.

Green, Love the US/philippines designs! Just picked two up today. A 1903 and 1913-S ten centavo as well as a BU 1944-D 20 centavos piece.

Caz. That's my first Philippine coin. It's the only one that I've come across that hasn't been scrubbed or sanded......:)

I've heard that problem a few times. Our Filipino friend Ozlek has serious problems finding these even though he lives in the Philippines. I really have found these coins attractive and regretted selling the ones I did. So I bought new ones :D If I start shipping internationally, I am going to be sending something to him and Koen.

Most of the pre-commonwealth issues wound up in Manila Bay prior to the Japanese invasion of the Philippines in 1942. US forces were unable to secret all of the bullion and silver out of the country by submarine so they resorted to sinking it in the bay in hopes of reclaiming it after the cessation of hostilities. It's rare to find any of these without some sort of cleaning.
