I do, and it really doesn't go into counterfeit detection. PCGS guide to coin grading and counterfeit detection has a little more on the subject, but it's a bit hard to really get into detecting counterfeit/altered coins from just a book. Both have really good information though.
The ANA has a correspondence course that comes with a counterfeit detection portion that has a little more information and a DVD. I attended a 2 day version of their seminar course at the Long Beach coin show last year, which was really helpful for those of us who can't get to Colorado. Hopefully in the future the ANA will do the seminar at more shows around the country.

As stated, no it doesn't. The PCGS grading book has a lot more about counterfeit detection. But the ANA book has a lot more about grading than the PCGS book.

If you want to learn, both books are absolutely necessary.
