    I wouldn't speculate without weighing and measuring it. Fakes are one of the reasons I no longer care for dollars in this condition. I have one set of self-graded Morgs from G-4 to MS, and I'm done with < AU-55.

    Can't see anything that makes me think it is, but that doesn't mean it is real. The Chinese fakes are good enough to fool most folks, including dealers, even in hand so you're never gonna be able to tell from a pic.

    If you don't know and trust the seller, don't buy it.

    From those photos it would be impossible to tell with any degree of certainty as to the authenticity of this coin. However, it is the most common from that year with 1,723,000 struck in New Orleans that year.

    If this is an authentic Morgan, it's worth melt, or $26.94, and a dealer or B&M would offer about $3.00 under melt for it.
