Slovenia is set to join the Euro-Zone.

    Slovenia is now set to join the Euro-Zone in January 2007.There will be a 3 week transition period in which both the Euro & the Tolar will be in circulation.The Tolar will then go the same way as the currencies such as the Irish Pound,the Dutch Gulden,& the Luxembourgish Franc,just to name a few.

    I haven't seen any Slovenian Euro coin designs,nor do we know what code letter will appear at the start of the Slovenian issue of Euro notes.

    I was in Slovenia - nice place,almost entirely on currency. I had to beg to find even a coin or two.
