Here is what I got from my latest box of Nickels:

    1930's - 2 (both 1939)
    1940's - 12 (including a 2 40S's, 46S, 47S well worn 43S!!)
    1950's - 21 (including a 53S)
    1960's - 44
    1964's - 71

    1 no date buffalo

    Thanks---Steve

(That is $3.55 worth out of $100 in Nickels for the 1964's....jeez...)

Overall, this was a pretty fun box. Like some of the 1940's that I pulled...

Long time reader first time poster.

today searched 4 boxes of dimes. found 3 roosies. a 63 a 62 and a 52. my wife however has an older coworker friend and she mentioned my silver coin hunt to her. she brought in 1 Barber Quarter, 8 Washington Quarters, and 35 Roosevelt dimes. My wife offered her 40 bucks for 5.75 in face and she was shocked and agreed immediately. should of offered her 20.
she will be home in 2 hours for me to start examining the find.
I searched my first box of halves yesterday.2nd to last roll had a 69. Two more boxes coming tomorrow.
By the way, many good threads in this forum.

I'd pay $40 for that any day!

Picked up 12 rolls of dimes from the grocery store, found a '52 Roosie.

Hubby looked through his box at work. Just 6 40%ers. Poor guy. I always get the good boxes.

Also went through $200 of CWRs but they were skunk. The teller has another $1800 and I know they are another collector's dump but she's good to me so I promised to come in tomorrow and take them off her hands. I'll still search, just in case, but I'm sure there won't be anything there. Then I can just shoot it back through the machine and my teller won't have to deal with them anymore.

Don't care, the boxes you're pulling right now are RIDICULOUS.

I've had three boxes EVER that had more than ten 40%'ers.

1 box of BWR pennies. 5 Wheats, a bunch of pennies to check for errors, and 1 1992 that looks like it has poison ivy. My 10 year old stayed home from school today and she helped me go through them. That was the best "find" of all.

Dumped a box of dimes and checked for halves, nothing doing there.
I did get a box of halves ordered for next week though. Not those crap Loomis boxes, it'll be a Strings box.
Here's to March being better than the end of Feb.

    $720 CWR: one 90% kennedy, 5 40%s
$210 BWR: one 90% franklin and a 40% (both were on the ends of the same roll! I was so excited to open it, but the rest were clad lol)
    $22 loose: 6 40%s!

also did two boxes of dimes and got three rosies. With all the silver I got today, I just hit the half pound mark of pure silver with all my finds :D!

    $500 in quarters skunk.
$4.50 in loose halves at bank #1 had one 40%er.
$7.00 in loose halves at bank #2 also had one 40%er.
Both tellers saw me come in and sat their halves on the counter and I immediately saw the silver. Whoot!
