This is about as perfect as Lincolns come in the RED category. 1951 PCGS PR67 RD PCGS Price Guide Price $275 Purchase Price $325 Toning Premium 1.18x Total Mintage 57,500 Population in this grade 93 and none higher I hardly ever buy RD copper, but this was just stunning! There are only 93 1951 PR67RDs in existence and I bet this is one of the nicest looking examples. The little bit of color on the obverse and reverse sold me on this. The obverse coloration of subtle olive green and fiery orange/red is just stunning and I love the deeply mirrored reverse. This particular example is the top listed coin for grade and visual appeal on the CoinFacts website for this date.
two 1998s top one is Wide "AM." This is my first really cool find in Lincoln memorials roll searching
Lots of these target toned 70s prf's out there,,, finally found one I liked at a good price ! Really nice in hand... square BO deal from the 'bay.
I have been patient for four years...looking for a nice upgrade to this otherwise respectable '31-D. I think the coin is a lot tougher than we think. She's pretty enough. I'd just like a little time with the Angelina upgrade. Lance.
Yeah! I've noticed that as well! What is it about that date? Were the sets issues in different holders than previous years? Unusual amounts of sulfuric acid in the cellophane? Sure would like to know! ... Oh, and gorgeous coin, by the way. -Brian
I bought this as an NGC 67RD five years ago, for $183. But I like my coins in PCGS plastic so I crossed it. You may know that NGC is a little more liberal with lofty grades, especially for copper. So often that means a drop in PCGS's grade. This time it was slabbed as a 67RD top pop, one of 16, and a crazy price guide value of $3900! LOL. Of course getting it is another matter altogether. My heirs will probably sell it to my B&M for $20. Lance.
If you don't wanna leave it as a $20 bill to your heirs, I'll gladly accept it Very beautiful coin right there! Top notch quality. :thumb:
