Thought I'd throw this out to the community, three questions:

What grade would you give this?
What would you sell it for?
What would you pay for it?

(My opinions: I think it's at least a VF20, but not an XF40. Going off Numismedia, that's a price of between $110 and $180. The question is...where in the middle does this coin fall? Also, it's a raw coin, FWIW.)

Well, I'm still futzing around with my lighting setup...using an LED bar directly overhead that at least gives good coverage. However, it does add a bluish tint to the color.

$10 is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy too low. I think it would be an XF details. Do away with that verdigris (properly) and it might grade. As stated before, $200 is a fair price.

The verdi. in the T on rev. and 86 are a lil worrying, but it is a beauty.

Adjusting your white balance will take care of that.

Looks like 5 die cracks on the reverse. Nice coin!

So if I have it listed on eBay for $150 BIN, that's a very fair price (according to posts so far?) :)

    Sounds like easy money.

Well, had one person offer me $87, which was wayyyy too low (IMO.) They were trying to get it for Graysheet bid, I think. Unfortunately, I had to turn that down.

Sad that I have to wait until Sunday to post another thread in the online auctions forum...got some decent coins up right now. But then again, I've already sold 5 of the 20 I listed. If anyone wants to check them out, my user is edited. If you're interested, send me a PM through CoinTalk and I can sell it here. PayPal, same as eBay, but I'll take the eBay fees off the purchase price. FWIW.

Yeah, looks like I'll have to wait for Sunday to give CoinTalk people a shot.

An interesting aside, not complaining here, but funny that it seems mods can be very vigilant in finding an ad in a thread...and yet allow threads to be hijacked with arguments about trolling, name calling, etc. I respect the job they're/you're doing...and I'm not complaining...I just find it interesting.
