You never know what you can find in those shops, I scored some nice silver last year for half melt. It wasn't a whole lot, but 2 or 3 franklin halves and ten or so quarters. I find the metropolitan area shops are spot on with the prices, the smaller burgs are cheaper.
I did get a 1962-d silver quarter for 4.00. Not a big score but was just happy to get a silver coin at a good price these days. Those are excellent finds. I would love to stumble across a few of them.
