The envelopes simply said "Lincoln cent error" without any indication of price or origin. Does anyone have a notion what these might be worth?

The first error is a cud - as a matter of fact a very nice cud. This would be called an 'Athiest Cent' because the cud obliterates part of the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST".

The second error is a double strike or, more precisely, an off-center strike over a centered first strike.

I don't know an accurate value for the coins but I would guess $5 to $10 each or so.
