Hi- I started a US Dansco 7070 what seems like AGES ago. It's a fun set to collect, with a rich history. I am grateful to everyone here who taught me about the set. And everything else related to coins, for that matter! I just realized today that I am half way there on my 7070! It's a milestone for me and I wanted to show the last two that got me there. I acquired them at the same time so they both win I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed getting them. The 'difficult' ones remain Best regards and thank you for reading! -L
Very nice! I have been working on a 7070 as well, it has been a lot of fun! I believe my latest addition was a 1935 Walker.... Congrats!
My favorite album for collecting is the 7070. Have fun. It's very rewarding. Are you trying the optional gold page too?
Hi Mojavedave- The Dansco model 7070 is titled 'Major US Type Coins'. It has slots for all major coins since 1800. As with all albums, Dansco has decided what 'all' and 'major' means I learned about it here at CoinTalk several years ago and got one then. It also has optional pages for gold and bicentennial but I don't have either of those at the moment. I find it to be a very interesting and great fun to fill! -L
Im going to have to look into this 7070 some more...sound sinteresting...as long as the coins for it arnt ungodly exspensive.
Some are, but you can choose your own poison by deciding on what grades to collect. It would be MUCH worst if they have done 18th century issues.
It is very interesting. I have one and decided to just fill the holes with whatever I can afford. I can always upgrade later. I'm about halfway done but I'm definitely not doing the gold page anytime soon.
