The newest in u1 (also known as u1toning and ddddd) slabbing features a grading system. It’s not what you might think, this is the A to Z scale! From the best, A, to the worst, Z, and everything in between. We start with a limited run of 8 sample slabs. There are two major varieties-grade on the front and grade on the back. These might just be the next big thing in the coin world! And it might be a little early for April but why wait and let the other TPGs beat me to the punch. ...the Puerto Rico quarter has nice luster and a fairly appealing design; one can argue that an "A" is generous (maybe it's an average B or even a C) but the kinks are still being worked out and this is just a sample.... ....this Barber leads to no arguments though; it definitely fits the Z category (for bottom of the barrel)
Just letters for now as that seems like enough. The .1, .2, .3....is just to label the slabs 1 to 7 (and then there is a bonus #8 that is not numbered).
That was me testing out the waters. Apparently these are a hit as it went pretty fast. Now time to go into full scale grading before NGC-X and CAC take all my business.
