I dunno much about errors. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1963-Silver..._Individual&hash=item20c2da40df#ht_500wt_1287
eBay should not allow listings such as this since it is physically impossible for such a coin to exist through normal or even "error" minting processes. It is obviously manmade and as such belongs, at the very minimum, in the novelty section. As for the current bidders that have it up to $51, what can I say? Playing with a 51 card deck has never really worked out in the end.
It would be one thing if the reverse was silver too... but it's copper, so it's obviously put together
Simply amazing!!! Think how many you can buy for $104 http://www.magictrickstore.net/pennytodime/index.htm
There is a seller on ebay that makes these quarter/Sacagewea dollar mule coins and sells them for around 12.00 each. I'm not sure if he is still selling them but he sold them on ebay for a long time. There is supposed to be a few of real mint made ones out there somewhere. The man made ones almost looks real when this seller puts the gold color on the quarter part to make it match the dollar's color.
Well, according to the link I posted, there are eleven: "To date, only eleven confirmed Sacagawea Dollar/Quarter Dollar mules have been found and authenticated." Here's a different link: http://www.fredweinberg.com/mules.php
Stang, do you think it will take two whole weeks? It will come with the story that it has been in their family since 1963 and they know it was a mint error because Grand Pa told them so. He picked it up in change at a diner from a waitress named Flo somewhere just west of Flagstaff Arizona.
