Reeding is less frequent than a US dime. :)
Nice box! The PNC that orders for me didn't give the boxes to a teller that would be on today despite me calling them and telling them I wasn't gonna be able to make it until today. Now I have to get 'em on my lunch on Monday, pretty big inconvenience to me.

Couple of stops today. $14 in loose halves... one 40%. Picked up 225 ikes. That makes about 275 for the week. Also, picked up a box of cents... will report that later.

Nothing in that box of dimes but a UK 5p and a '77 S proof. And since I ran out of wrappers, I have to wait until Monday to dump them and get more. You guys that have banks open on Sundays and counting machines really are lucky.

Well, I finished my initial sort of my Nickels today. Still have to go through and look for errors but i did find this beauty about halfway through the box.

Also found a couple of beat up Wars and some no date buffs, and a 5 Cent from Bermuda, but the Victory is probably the best one I've ever seen. No Cents variety.

    box of halves - skunk
    box of halves - 1x90%, 2x40%
    box of nickels - 1 war, 1 '39

not great results on the halves but I'm still cautiously optomistic. these boxes were really clean. All my previous boxes had like 6 or so marked coins per roll! these two only had maybe a dozen marked coins in all! Maybe I have finally sifted through all the crap. I was begining to think I was searching the same coins over and over again, but this proves otherwise.

Just out of curiousity is that the PNC south of Rt.1 on 202? I've asked them to grab me a box a week too. However, it's a tough one to get too from where I work and they seem to be best if you stop by during the week? We should probably compare notes to see where we are picking up at so we don't accidentally snipe from each other.

HA! I was having them order me two boxes a week for a while there. Stopped cause I moved and they were just SO SLOW to get the boxes out of the vault, it was like a 15 minute wait every time. The old male teller always laughed about how I'd refer to the competition stealing my boxes whenever I couldn't get there in a timely manner. Was that you?

Do you use the PNC near Exton Mall to order? They have awesome hours, so I think I'm gonna have them order halves for me so I can search them on the weekends.

EDIT: By the way, I don't think I'll be able to make it to the coin show next Saturday unless I can find someone to take my shift.

Oh, and the PNC that forgot to get me my boxes is just outside of WC...

Went through 4 boxes of nickels and 4 boxes of cents this weekend.

I am picturing the really cool coins I found:

1897 IHC - My oldest roll search coin so far!

1954D Wheat Cent - In amazing shape

1984S Memorial cent - My first proof cent found in circulation

1929D Buffalo Nickel - Can anyone give me a guess as to grade? The pics aren't the greatest, there seems to be some nice toning starting on the reverse. It is one of the better Buffalos I have found.

1928S Wheat Cent - One of the few "S" mintmarks I have found from the '20s

192xS Wheat Cent - I am unable to figure out the last number in the year. I want to believe it is a '26s, but I think it is a 1920s

Also found 5 war nickels and a '38D Jefferson.

For me, these were some amazing boxes. It is why I love nickel and cent searching more than looking for silver (don't get me wrong, I love finding silver). To me, this is an amazing cross section of coins to find in circulation from one pickup.

The cents from the '20s were in the same roll btw...

It probably wasn't me sniping at that PNC Merc. I just went in there in Jan for the 1st time and asked them to order for me. I've picked up only 2 times, but have had some luck. Not huge luck, but I know what you mean about them being slow as molasses. I have only dumped at the PNC in Exton. That's real close to me, but be careful...that machine has broken on me the last 5 out of 6 times I've used it. It used to work great, but they fixed it late last year and has not worked the same.

I think I'm done dumping halves there. Since, I dumped there I have never ordered from them.

BTW - the coin show is on March 4th, SUNDAY!

Yeah, I realized that... still have work.

Requested half the day off, so we'll see if I can get out of that anyway. I've heard it's a pretty good show for a local deal.

I just made that PNC in Exton my weekend pickup bank for halves, since they have great hours, unalike most other PNC's. Seems to be a pretty big branch too, I'm gonna try to get them to order me 4 boxes a week in a couple months instead of two, that will bring my regular rotation of boxes to 8.

Funny thing, one of the tellers goes, when I went in there today to talk about ordering, "Oh, I know what you're lookin' for!" I just gave her my patented blank stare.

I got two 50 cent rolls yesterday and got a 1910 plain. Oldest one I've gotten in circulation for a while. Also had a few other wheat cents, including a 1942D and 1940.
