Well I just got back from a coin auctions the prices were normal just as I thought Morgans went for nothing below 37.50. I picked up a few I thought were nice. Let me know what you think about the indian head. Also I got a 1909 wheat with most of the rev gone. Just the ears are showing, niot sure if its grease in the die or post mint. If you look around the edge you will see markings of some sort of tooling. I didnt pay much so if it's nothing then its OK. Here is a list of what I got 1838 LC, 1852 LC, 1863 Indian, 1905 Indian, 1909 Cent, 1925 Buff, 1835 10C bust, 1877 CC 25C, 1919 D & 1929D Walkers All for around 100

Not sure what you need the help with but I'm going to assume it's that cent. If you look close to edges you can see many scratches repeated going in a circular direction. That leads me to believe the coin suffered damage of one sort or another from getting caught in a machine of some kind.
That is indeed what I needed help with and thought the same thing. Must have been a long time ago cuz its a nice brown.
