I got a great combo birthday/Father's Day gift last week. My neighbor already gave me permission to search their yard. Their house was built in the 1820's. I'm practicing on my lawn first.
I got a couple of cards, a t-shirt, and a Magnetic Therapy bracelet (Bad Back) which they show on TV. My big prize is for this aternoon 1 1/2" thick NY Strips 1.3lbs each and a pleasent afternoon with the wife just sitting in the back yard watching the world go by B
Hello, I am kind of depressed. I have two grown daughters,one 27 and the other 32 and currently at 12:30EST oh, this doesn't include six grand kids..I have not had one thing mentioned to me and I have already spoken to youngest daughter. I guess, Its ok to borrow money,cars,other home,but not say HAPPY FATHERS DAY, DAD Bruce

My daughter gave me a healthy recovery from an emergency apendectomy. That my children are happy and well is enough of a fathers day present for me. That and a really big tool chest from the wife.

Draco, Happy Fathers Day! Not sure what else to say. All I can think of is "that sucks". Sometimes people don't realize how important little things can be... a thank you .... or recognition on a specific holiday. Last year, my oldest forgot my birthday and Father's Day. This year, she drove an hour to give me a hug and a card. Ups and downs. I couldn't ask for anything more, and I know I'm an extremely lucky guy.
Got cards from both of my girls this year. Pleasant surprise.. Happy Fathers day to all the dads in Cointalk.

I recieved the best gift a guy could get. I am currently deployed to South Pacific. I am in the US Air Force. I got a phone call from my kids 8 and 12 and newborn to tell me how much they miss daddy. That is better than any coin in the world ever.
First time ever.... My daughters bought me a NGC VAM attributed 1883 "O/O" Morgan dollar, Vam 4, MS 63. The coin is blast white with nice luster.
I got a phone call from my son. I called my daughter early Sunday because I knew she wouldn't call me. My stepson really came through and gave me a recliner chair with a fold out tray and cup holder. It is used but it is sooooo comfortable, you know the kind you have to fight to stay a wake in. He's a good boy!!!!!! Haven't got any of my children trained to buy me coins yet, but i'm working on it.
