The good news is that the 1942/1 Merc came out XF, but on a sad note a submission I did for a friend ended up XF-Details (Genuine). I should be receiving my 2nd batch of submission within the week. The 1915P and Morgan were for a fellow Ct'r
it's a 1942 date, re-imprinted over a 1941 date on the die, but because a 1 doesn't look like a "2", you can see the difference between the dates. it's called a 1942 over 1941, or 1942/1. it's a $$ variety.
Hey Jason, thank you very much for letting me submit these coins through you. I am sad to see the "genuine" coins that came back I am happy with the Morgan and glad to see it at that grade. As well as the 1915. Though much like you, I was hoping for a 10. Once again thank you. Time to pit the Morgan on the market...
Wow! That's quite a trip....from WA to MD to CA to MD to WA. It's a good thing you didn't go by cab! Chris
