Just found this on ebay searching for unsearched wheat rolls: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-Roll-Whea...98?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item3f141bf0da I love the way the seller says " Technically Unsearched" in the title. The discription even makes this listing funnier. Unless he is using a high end really fast coin sorter I'm perrty sure that he can tell the dates. This listing made my day hope it give you a laugh
This guy posts a lot of these "unsearched" Indian Heads. As if he doesn't lay them all out on a table without looking at them for key dates. He has at least 8 such listings, with a different picture for each. http://www.ebay.com/itm/80-Indian-Head-Pennies-Unsearched-a984-/230750146366?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item35b9c7cf3e#ht_1523wt_1148 http://www.ebay.com/itm/80-Indian-Head-Pennies-Unsearched-a985-/230750146681?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item35b9c7d079#ht_1547wt_1148
4 bids. $2.30 (with a snipe at the end) and $3.00 shipping. $5.30 for a roll of cents? "tecnically" unsearched. Lucrative business!
I wonder if he accepts "technical" payment. I reckon we shouldn't be too hard on the guy, at least he is making a token attempt at honesty. Most unsearched (sic) rolls of 1950's cents have just been discovered in a 200 year old safe or such nonsense.
