No. Those are the blue box uncirculated. When you search the completed sales for these, you can refine the filters for proof, or business strikes, uncertified.

FYI, the melt on these at current spot of $35.52 is $11.22

With regards to the hit, it's on a prime focal area of this coin, and is quite noticeable and distracting and will affect the grade.

    Just a couple from eBay:

I stand corrected. Never thought anyone was dumb enough to pay over melt for a "generic" pictured Ike. It's like Forest Gump, you never know what you're gonna get.

And those are BIN sales, not bidding auctions.

A quick scan of the eBay completed listings for this coin and they have been selling for around $10-$17 or so. A few a little less and a few a little more. The lowest I saw was $8.80 and the most was $17.95 and I only looked at the last couple weeks. The coins going closer to $17 were all in original mint packaging, it seems that the raw coins were selling for a couple dollars less. So based on those numbers, the damage to this coin and the current melt value (which is $11.19)...I would personally put this coin in the $11-$13 price range.

I paid 18 dollars shipped from Hull on these forums. He sent me a generic pic when i specifically asked for a pic of the coin i would be receiving. Although like i said i cannot prove it due to the fact that i made the mistake of removing it from mint packaging.I Will not due business with anyone else on these forums who fails to provide accurate pics, His loss because i buy a lot of coins on this forum and will not be buying his. I dont feel too bad because i would have paid the same on ebay with shipping.

    Let me ask you this:

When you received the coin, and noticed it was not the coin in the pictures Hull sent you, why didn't you simply contact Hull and discuss a return or exchange?

I've never done business with him but from what I've seen he is a reasonable person and more likely would have wanted your 100% satisfaction over his profit.

    But as you said, TLN!

Because i took it out of mint packaging so its my fault and only my fault i should have looked at it better. I took it out because the inside of the packaging was leaving those spots on the reverse. This is the original pic and what he said to me when i asked for pics of reverse.

This was his reply when asked for pics of reverse.

Sorry I don't have pics available and I don't have time to take more. The reverse is exactly same condition as obverse. Also I need to know if you want one because I have other buyers. Thanks, Henry

    Smells fishy to me.....

Absolutely not, i dont care about the package at all i care about the coin and like i said its not worth arguing over my fault wont happen again. Im sure hull would have made it right which is why i have not blasted him on here because believe me if i felt wronged i would have.

Sorry, Matthew, but I think you already did. I think you both could have handled it differently.

Words of advice OP- take that ike out of the black ring and put it ina white or there might be black residue on the rim of your ike a year from now.
