    Thanks for the info. I'm new to collecting, and I'm just trying to make sense of pricing and doing research before I actually buy anything. When I see virtually identical items with a price difference of more than double (400 vs. 995), I get confused.

    Yeah, you're missing something alright. What you're missing is that you should ignore stuff like that on ebay.
