I managed to get ahold of a 1775 Great Britain 1/2 Penny and when i looked it up using the world price guide on NGC's site it has a note saying that theirs alot of contemporary counterfeits, So my question is... Which is this and what's it worth? and yes i know it's heavily worn.
Personally speaking, without a close up in-hand inspection it's almost impossible to say one way or another even with your enlarged pics. Sorry
A poor condition (clearly a fake) I`ve seen sell for $10 I`m very surprised, the coin is so poorly made on this one its a shame it sold for that Yours as you said yourself in poor condition is hard to judge genuine or not I would advise hold onto it or auction it on ebay.If you paid more than $3 hold onto it. I would say yours is worth no more than $5-$10? Maybe more if your lucky. Sorry
