Hello, I most certainly could find a better coin if I had waited or knew where to look in the first place. I looked at that coin and really didn't read his disclaimer saying it may not be same coin.My fault totally.I just expect to much out of people as I would not have hidden the fact. I would have been up front and honest and I expect other people to do the same. Of coarse the laugh is on me...I really am new to this collecting of coins other than gold bullion. I learned a lesson on this sale. I will just keep it and move on as suggested. Bruce
your coin has appreciated in value some. A 65RD in PCGS plastic would sell for $75-$125 depending on the weather, but it's been a fair while since one sold in the online markets (ebay, Heritage, or Teletrade) for only $50 and a 66Rd is anywhere from $125-$200.
opps, yours is RB, that is a HUGE difference, I expect that a 66 RB is worth only slightly more than $50, there is just so much supply of the RD coins that there is no need for a collector to settle for a RB example unless they want to.
I expect that a 64 RD is only slightly less valuable than the 66RB even though you should be able to find one for a little less than you paid, it is not an outrageous price.
