I've got this morgan dollar. Can someone grade it and give me an approximate value? I'm guessing it's about MS-62? $35?

When grading Morgans, wear on the eagles breast feathers is one focal point, and distracting marks on either side, Liberty's hair, cotton boles, and the coronet in her hair, as well as luster and whether the strike is weak or not(weak strikes are more common on the New Orleans Morgans because they were more concerned with quantity than quality).

I don't see much luster, but that could be the angle of your light source affecting that in the picture. Some wear on the eagle's breast minor IMO, and I see some marks on Liberty's cheek, but not distracting.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that the luster is there in hand, and go MS....................62, with a not bad shot at 63.

Value, it is a common Morgan, $30 - $45, I would feel okay paying $32.50 for it myself.
